I am proud to be part of the network and teaching team of SHIFTSCHOOL in Nuremberg, Germany. SHIFTSCHOOL calles itself ‘Germany’s first Academy for Digital Transformation’ and runs an intense (18 months, Saturdays), class-based curriculum for digital innovators.
Created by the digital pioneers Christina & Tobias Burkhardt, the program is a thoughtfully crafted learning journey with a really engaging teaching approach.
I designed and taught the one day spark on ‘contextual design’, in which I am breaking apart design as an approach and run seven exercises on its different mindsets. The leading question is: What can we learn from the way designers work?
