Together with a fantastic colleague, I trained a group of twelve Design Thinking facilitators from Cairo, Egypt. As part of GIZ’s Labor Market Access Program, the team went through a nine day training camp in Cologne in which we
- familiarized them with Design Thinking
- practiced how to apply it to social challenges
- prepared them to coach their own workshop in Arabic

In the second half of the program, we went to Cairo where the new coaches led a diverse group through a Design workshop on sexual harassment in the work place. We supported them as mentors and they did a fantastic job with great results. There’s a video of this program as well:
